Erna
Following her background and training in Contemporary Dance, Ballet and Modern Jazz, Erna joined a variety of modern dance companies
(Dintjan, Human Plastik ) with whom she choreographed and directed shows such as
Fièvre, prélude volorganique, parcours libre…)
Having graduated with a “Science de l’éducation” degree, she joined primary schools as a dance teacher where she produced and directed shows both for and with the
children.
Her taste for discovery and interest for dance lead her to Argentinian Tango and Latin Salsa : the Tango for its intimacy and
nostalgia, Salsa for the joy and freedom of movement.
Having been taught by Santiago, and constantly training with the most outstanding Tango
Maestros, Erna has become one of the accomplished Tango dancers
Together:
A powerful and inventive TANGO was born from their meeting in 2000 : a subtle mixture of
elegance, freedom of expression, technical rigour and sensuality. Erna and Santiago are both artists and teachers who demonstrate frequently in Buenos Aires, Argentina and throughout
Europe.
They are also regulaly invited to participate at various International Tango festivals where they are amongst the Tango “Greats”. In
Montpellier, South of France, they develop and exploit their dance and methods through their teaching at regular Tango classes together with private
lessons.
Their ambition is to simply continue, through their dancing and teaching, to transmit their emotion and passion for Argentinian Tango.
