About the way we
teach:
"We believe in conscious bodies prepared for the Dance. By working on the fluid communication between bodies in movement and music, we remain open to and connected to all the possibilities that “the Dance of the Embrace” has to offer us. We offer an in depth study of the key elements of the “tango-danza” and an understanding of how they serve as tools for
improvisation"
Our teachers:
We study a lot with the old milongueros of our city, Rosario, "La Chicago
Argentina" like the famous Orlando Paiva (film Assasination Tango by Robert Duvall) and other beautiful tangueros. Also lots of milongueros in Buenos Aires...Pocho Pizarro, Nito & Elba, Gavito...but the one who open to us other possibilities was Fabián Salas. He invited us to help him in the Cosmotango 2003 as assistants and we learned a lot!. We also met there all the "famous" teachers at this moment.
Since 2003 we work a lot alone investigating a truly way to improvise in Tango-Dance. Don´t forget that Graciana comes from the classical dance and I was a dancer of Contact Improvisation.
We don´t
like to give a certain name to our work because that means to push limits, but perhaps the people think that we dance more tango nuevo. For us, we dance the tango that we live today wihtout forgetting the
tradition.
Our Main focus is: Comunication between
the Couple, the connection with the Music and the
Improvisation.

waarop we lesgeven: "Wij geloven in lichaamsbewustzijn in
voorbereiding op de dans. Door te werken aan een vloeiende communicatie
tussen de danspartners in beweging en muziek, blijven we open
staan voor en verbonden met alle mogelijkheden die de " Dans van de
Embrace ' te bieden heeft voor ons. Wij bieden een diepgaande studie van
de belangrijkste elementen van de "tango-Danza" en een begrip van de wijze
waarop ze dienen als instrumenten voor improvisatie "
Onze docenten: We werken veel met de oude
milongueros van onze stad, Rosario, "La Chicago Argentinië", zoals de
beroemde Orlando Paiva (film Assassination Tango met Robert Duvall) en
andere mooie tangueros. Ook veel milongueros in Buenos Aires ... Pocho
Pizarro, NITO & Elba, en vroeger ook Gavito ... De leraar die ons echt
opende om verder te kijken was Fabián Salas. Hij heeft ons uitgenodigd om
hem te helpen in de Cosmotango 2003 als assistenten, en daar leerden we
zeer veel !. We ontmoetten daar ook al de "beroemde" leraren van dit
moment.
Sinds 2003 werken we aan het versterken van onze eigen weg
in de tango-improvisatie. Vergeet niet dat Graciana's achtergrond de
klassieke dans is en ik was een danser van Contact Improvisatie. Wij
geven liever geen label aan onze stijl, maar we beseffen dat mensen ons
snel in de categorie 'tango Nuevo 'zullen plaatsen. Wij dansen echter de
tango die we op dit moment leven zonder de traditie te vergeten.
Onze Voornaamste
aandachtspunt is: Communicatie tussen het danspaar, de verbinding met de muziek en improvisatie.
